Chlorine Training Cylinder - TCYL

The training cylinder is an actual full size 150 lb. empty DOT 3AA480 chlorine cylinder. This training device is designed to simulate leaks at the valve and in the sidewall of the cylinder.

Training cylinder includes:

Attachments for a standard garden hose
Drain plug
Safety one-way valve to prevent accidental filling of the cylinder
Spare sidewall leak screw
Leaking fuse plug

Chlorine One Ton Training End

The training end is an actual full size end of the standard DOT 106A500X chlorine container, mounted on a support base. The training end is designed to simulate chlorine emergencies and allow "hands on" practice applying the chlorine emergency Kit "B". Chlorine leaks can be simulated, using a standard garden hose, in the valve and in two of the fusible plugs. (Side cut-away and back view shown below)

The training end includes a lifting eye and a set of side handles and is also available with wheels. Color: Green, Weight: 350lbs.

Chlorine Rail Car/Tank Truck Training Dome

The training dome is designed to simulate chlorine leaks in a rail car dome when applying the Chlorine Emergency Kit "C". The valve manifold allows the instructor to simulate a chlorine leak, with water or compressed air, in the pressure relief device and two of the angle valves. The training dome includes four cast chlorine angle valve (Mid. A-713 style) facsimiles with two plumbed to leak, one pressure relief device, valve manifold, heavy duty casters, and fork lift handles.
