GASKET PACKAGES MADE OF VITON®

  • Chlorine Institute Emergency Kit gaskets are made of Viton (since 1978)

  • The Chlorine Institute recommends they be inspected on a regular basis.

  • Gaskets found to be impaired or used in an emergency situation should be replaced.

  • The Chlorine Institute Gasket Guidelines also recommend a maximum 4 year shelf life for all gaskets made of Viton.

  • All emergency kit gaskets are stamped with the date of manufacture for ease of inspection.

  • Note: The A-kit was modified in 1993 requiring a new gasket design.  When purchasing an A-kit gasket kit please indicate which gasket set is required.

AC93 CONVERSION PACKAGE

 
Kit A  has been re-designed to ease in the application and handling of the kit devices. The A-Kit Conversion Package AC93 is designed to enhance emergency kits manufactured prior to 1993 to current standards with minimal new equipment investment.  By using existing kit components along with the AC93 pkg., pre-1993 emergency kits can now have  the major advantages of a new kit at a fraction of the cost.

  • Hood 1A2 (1 pc.)
    • Accommodates cylinders with oversized neckrings
    • Fits over cylinder with valve protective housing on
    • Forged steel elbow for added Protection of vent valve
  • Gasket 1BRV (2 pcs.)
    • Accommodates cylinders with oversized neckrings thus eliminating need for gasket 1FVG
    • Radius sealing surface to accommodate a variety of cylinder neck configurations
  • 1EFP Chain & Base Assembly (1pc.)
  • Accommodates cylinders up to 15" in diameter
  • Provides stable base for all cylinder bottoms
  • Chains have been lengthened

 C-KIT CONVERSION PACKAGE CC96

 

Kit "C"  has been re-designed to ease in the application and handling of the kit devices. The C-Kit Conversion Package CC96 is designed to enhance emergency kits manufactured prior to 1996 to current standards with minimal new equipment investment.  By using existing kit components along with the CC96 pkg., pre-199 C-kits can now have  the major advantages of a new kit but at a fraction of the cost.
